This week we were able to help ten families, six couples and ten individuals. This was a total of 33 adults and 27 children.
Every week we are getting new clients referred to us for help. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, of both food and funds, we are able to meet this challenge with a smile and a welcome. This week we were blessed with generous donations (from local businesses, churches and individuals) of fresh eggs, bread, cake and pastries, and plenty of fruit and vegetables – all of which was much appreciated by our clients.
We are grateful for donations of long-life food that has at least six months’ shelf life marked on it. In particular, we are in need of tinned meat, breakfast cereals, instant coffee, biscuits, toilet rolls plus cat and dog food. We remain very short of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags.
