Monday 28th September

It was another very busy Monday at Bridgnorth Food Bank. We were able to provide food parcels to seventeen families, six couples and twelve individuals. This made a total of 45 adults and 53 children we supported.

A big thank-you to all our volunteers, together with the numerous local churches, retailers and individuals who have kindly donated money, groceries and perishables. This really is a great community effort in support of fellow members of the community.

The demand for our help means that we are running low in stocks of most items – except for pasta and baked beans! If you can spare us even a single item, it will be put to good use. We particularly need tinned meat and fish (including tinned pies), tinned puddings (rice, custard, etc.), tinned fruit, shampoo, shower gel, instant coffee, breakfast cereals and pet food (for cats and dogs – wet or dry food most welcome!).

At this very special time when we mark Harvest Festival, thank you.
