Bridgnorth Food Bank was a lot busier today – we were able to help thirteen families, eight couples and sixteen individuals – a total of 54 adults and 38 children.
Many thanks to local retailers who generously provided us with a plentiful supply of bread, pastries, fruit, vegetables and eggs. To our donors: we will be very grateful for any donations of long-life food as long as it still has at least six months’ shelf life – if the date marked as “Use By” or “BBE” has already passed, we cannot use it.
Thanks also to all the local groups and churches who donate to us and remember us in their prayers.
We remain very short of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags.
