Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May

A quieter day than usual at Bridgnorth Food Bank, but we are mindful that public transport is very limited on a bank holiday, preventing some of our clients from getting to us. We were able to provide support to eight families, four couples and ten individuals. This made a total of 26 adults and 23 children.

We welcome donations of long-life food items that have at least six months’ shelf life. In particular, we are in need of tinned meat and fish, tinned vegetables, long-life milk (especially the blue-labelled whole milk), tinned fruit, jam/marmalade/spreads, tinned milk puddings (rice, custard, etc.) and biscuits.

Donations of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags will be immediately put to use!

Thank you.
