Getting busier

On Monday 12th January, Bridgnorth Food Bank was able to support fourteen families, twelve couples, eleven individuals plus one emergency: a total of 52 adults and 38 children – that’s nearly ten percent more than the previous week.

We and our clients really appreciate the generosity and kindness of local churches, retailers and individuals, plus our small army of volunteers, who together make our mission possible.

We welcome donations of long-life food, as long as it has at least six months’ shelf life marked on it. In particular, we are in need of tinned meat, milk puddings (rice, sago, custard etc.), tinned fruit, cartons of long-life milk (especially whole milk in the blue cartons), bottles of squash, shower gel and soap.

Many thanks.
