On 5th January, Bridgnorth Food Bank was able to provide food parcels for thirteen families, eleven couples, twelve individuals plus one emergency. This made a total of 45 adults and 37 children, more than double the number of the previous week.
Thanks to the ongoing generosity of local churches, retailers and individuals, we were able to provide plenty of long-life and perishable food. But with demand like this, we need a regular supply of donations in order to keep us going. In particular, this week we would be most grateful for donations of tinned milk puddings, tinned fruit, jam and spreads, breakfast cereals, bottles of squash, shower gel and soap.
We seem to be more in need than ever of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags.
Thank you, and we wish a happy new year to all our clients, volunteers and supporters.
