It was another busy day at Bridgnorth Food Bank. We were able to help thirteen families, six couples and ten individuals. This made a total of 41 adults and 32 children.
Our thanks, as always, to our generous donors, especially some local retailers and local churches, plus the volunteers who keep us going. We welcome donations of long-life food in packets or tins which has at least six months’ shelf life left (see the Use By or Best Before dates marked on every packet or tin). If it is out of date, sadly we cannot use it.
In particular, we would currently welcome donations of tinned meat, instant coffee, sugar, long-life milk, fruit squash, tinned soup, and hair shampoo. As ever, we are running short of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags. Thank you!
