Despite persistent rain and the closure of West Castle Street for road resurfacing, Bridgnorth Food Bank was very busy. We were able to help eleven families, seven couples, sixteen individuals plus one emergency. This made a total of 43 adults and 33 children.
We are grateful for all the donations we receive. In particular, we are in need of tinned meat, cook-in sauces, tinned fruit, jars of instant coffee, tinned milk puddings (rice pudding, custard, etc.), shampoo and soap.
Our chronic shortage of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags persists, so any donated bags will be put straight into use! Thank you.
