This week we helped nine families, three couples , thirteen individuals plus two emergencies. This made a total of 34 adults and 26 young people.
We would be very grateful for donations of long-life food that has at least six months shelf life left. We cannot use donations of cans and packets which are beyond their use-by date. We are in particular need of baked beans, soup, tinned vegetables, tinned meat, jam and spreads, tinned fruit and rice (both packets and microwaveable). We are very short of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags.
Many thanks to local retailers who generously supplied us this week, particularly with bread, fruit and vegetables.
Please note: although next Monday, 25th August, is a Bank Holiday, Bridgnorth Food Bank will be open for business as usual, 10:30am to 12:30pm.
