Bridgnorth Food Bank was very busy today, providing food parcels for eleven families, ten couples plus one emergency, and fifteen individuals plus two emergencies. This made a total of 50 adults and 38 children.
Many thanks to the local churches, retailers and individuals for all their generous donations. But we had to spend over £700 of our own funds last week on buying the groceries we need to keep going. So, we would particularly welcome donations of tinned meat and fish, tinned soup, cook-in sauces, tinned vegetables, breakfast cereals, long-life milk, biscuits and pet food. We are OK for now, however, with dried pasta.
Once again we are very short of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags. We welcome donations and returns of these.
Thank you!
