Another busy day at Bridgnorth Food Bank, where we were able to provide food parcels to ten families, seven couples and eleven individuals plus one emergency. This made a total of 37 adults and 29 children. And all of this made possible by the generous donations from local churches, retailers and individuals, plus the ongoing support of our team of dedicated volunteers.
The demands upon our resources do not diminish and we are in urgent need of more supplies. We would particularly welcome donations of tinned meat and fish, tinned soup, biscuits, tinned vegetables, cook-in sauces, breakfast cereals and long-life milk (especially whole milk – in blue and white cartons).
We are also in need of more bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags.
Please note, we will be open for business as usual on Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May, from 10.30am till 12.30pm.
