Monday 1st December

This week, Bridgnorth Food Bank was privileged to help twelve families, eight couples, seven individuals plus one emergency. This made a total of 36 adults and 42 children.

The perishable food donated by some local retailers makes all the difference for which we (and our clients) are very grateful. The groceries donated by local churches and individuals, especially through the collection baskets at some local supermarkets is a big help too. But we always welcome donations of packaged and tinned food as long as it has at least six months’ shelf life (the expiry date is always shown on every packet, tin and bottle), and on condition that is has no alcohol additives.

As always, we are running short of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags.

Thank you.
