A rise in emergency cases

This Monday, 27th October, Bridgnorth Food Bank was able to help eight families, four couples plus one emergency, and seven individuals plus two emergencies. This made a total of 30 adults and 27 children.

We welcome donations of groceries that have at least six months’ shelf life (the use-by or best-before date stamped on every can and packet). Just now, we are in particular need of instant coffee, sugar, long-life cartons of milk, bottles of squash, soap, deodorant and shampoo.

As always, we are short of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags. Every donated item helps our clients.

Many thanks to all our donors, including local retailers and churches, and our volunteers.
