On what was one of the hottest days on record, we were very busy and helped to support 14 families, 5 couples, 13 individuals plus one emergency. This was a total of 41 adults and 44 young people.
We would be very pleased to receive donations of in-date groceries. In particular, we are short of tinned fish, tinned baked beans, tinned vegetables, tinned meat, jars of instant coffee, biscuits and cartons of long-life milk.
We are also running short of bags-for-life and ordinary strong carrier bags, plus empty egg cartons (6’s). Many thanks to all our supporters, donors and volunteers. This small army of goodwill keeps the food bank going!
